Next Crew Meeting, Sunday September 10, 2017 1 PM at Tom Lachance's house

Crew #11 continues to assist in Football Game Parking at UW-Madison home games. All those associated with the Crew are required to assist in this activity, as this is one of our primary fundraisers. Revenue from these events assist in funding the cost of our outings. 2017 Football games are as follows, Sept 30 Northwestern, Oct 21 Maryland, Nov 11 Iowa, Nov 18 Michigan. Times to follow

Special meeting on Sunday, October 29 at Jeff Robbe's house, 417 East Hill Pkwy, Madison, at 1:00pm. Subway sandwiches will be provided. We will view herpetoculture, and Irish Setters.

Celebrate NATIONAL FOSSIL DAY at Burpee Museum of Natural History on Saturday, October 15th, 2016. This special event will feature several local fossil collectors/exhibitors, hands-on activities, fossil IDs by Burpee Staff, a Jurassic Park Jeep for photo ops, a special presentation on saber-toothed cats by noted paleontologist Dr. Virginia Naples, Northern Illinois University and the first 100 children will receive a free fossil to start their own collection.

National Fossil Day is held in partnership with the National Park Service and promotes responsible fossil collecting and stewardship (by people of all ages), and encourages science education. - See more at: Burpee Museum
